Street Jazz Class
Street Jazz is a hybrid dance that blends the technique and energy of Jazz with the power and attitude of urban dances. Dynamic and stylish, it's danced to contemporary music (pop, R&B, electronic, etc.) and allows everyone to express their personality through rhythmic and creative choreography. Combining precision, musicality, and freedom, Street Jazz is both a performance dance and a fun, modern form of expression, accessible to all.
Registration is via the Atelier du Quartier website; the page opens in a new window.
Wednesdays from 2 to 3 pm and from 3 to 4 pm — Teens (Middle & High School)
Every Wednesday, the Atelier du Quartier offers two Street Jazz classes for middle and high school students. These classes introduce a hybrid style blending Jazz, Groove, and Hip Hop through modern, rhythmic, and creative choreography. Students work on rhythm, coordination, and personal expression while having fun in a friendly and stimulating atmosphere.
Open to all levels, these classes are an ideal way for teenagers to develop confidence, musicality, and energy in an artistic and dynamic environment.
